premium theme modern news

  I don’t see my discount as I’m checking out since I’m a premium subscriber. Don’t I save when I purchase a premium theme like modern news?

  I see that you have the WordPress.com Premium upgrade on one of your blogs. However, that’s separate from premium themes. With WordPress.com Premium, you get the following upgrades:

  • Domain Name & Mapping
  • Space Upgrade
  • No Ads
  • Custom Design
  • VideoPress

  You’re welcome to purchase any premium themes at regular price in addition to the WordPress.com Premium upgrade if you’d like to use one of those themes on your blog.

  Three questions:

  1. So in order to use a ‘premium theme’ one must first upgrade to the WordPress.com Premium level, yes?

  2. Do I need to purchase the WordPress.com Premium level for each of my blogs? Or does one purchase cover me?

  3. I need to advertise product on my site, can you provide the name of three themes that allow me to do this yet incorporate my blog?

  Hi there,

  1. So in order to use a ‘premium theme’ one must first upgrade to the WordPress.com Premium level, yes?

  No, I’m sorry if my last message was confusing. You don’t have to upgrade to WordPress.com Premium first. But if you already have WordPress.com Premium, you can also purchase premium themes in addition to that.

  Premium themes are completely separate from WordPress.com Premium, so you can purchase them even if you don’t have WordPress.com Premium on your blog. The price for a premium theme is the same, whether or not you have WordPress.com Premium on that blog.

  2. Do I need to purchase the WordPress.com Premium level for each of my blogs? Or does one purchase cover me?

  Every upgrade at WordPress.com (including WordPress.com Premium) is per-blog. If you’d like to have WordPress.com Premium on more than one blog, you’ll need to purchase it for each blog.

  3. I need to advertise product on my site, can you provide the name of three themes that allow me to do this yet incorporate my blog?

  Before you begin advertising on your site, please take a look at our advertising guidelines here: Advertising

  Please make sure that your site’s content follows our guidelines there. The kind of affiliate linking we allow can be done in any WordPress.com theme.
