Premium theme Standard- Help with blank space

  I am using the premium theme standard and I am having trouble with a blank space. My blog posts are showing up on the blog page but they are not the latest posts and I have to scroll half way down the page in order to see them. What is supposed to go in the blank space? Or is it something to do with my computer, I am using a Mac. Please help!
