Premium Theme support, I might as well use a free theme

    Seems there’s more people readily available here than at the premium theme website… wow it seems like paying more would mean that I’d have to wait longer; shouldn’t it be the other way around?

    I’m not saying volunteers aren’t doing good enough of a job outside the premium forums, but c’mon let’s get real my question has gone unanswered in more than 5 hours; sometimes here I will get an answer within a couple of hours. Maybe wordpress.com should pick a different commercial theme partner to offer better support for their themes.

    Firstly, average response time on forums – premium or not – is about 13 hours as I remember. Secondly for almost every email I send into a support department I get an email back saying they will respond is 24-48 hours.

    5 hours is nothing, and did you ever think that the theme designers might be asleep? It is night time in half the world right now.

    This free forum spoils people and is completely out of the ordinary as far as forums go, so don’t use it as a gauge as to what to expect in other forums – even ones that are here. 75% of the questions I’ve posed in the wordpress.ORG forums have NEVER been answered, and some of those were from 4 years ago.
