Premium Theme transfer

  Hello!

  We bought a theme from you guys, Portfolio by the Theme Foundry, a while ago. It was our understanding that when buying the theme plus the premium upgrade that we would be able to manipulate the theme to function the way we would want it to.

  It doesn’t seem like when selling the upgrade to premium, wordpress was being totally honest about the amount of flexibility it offered. E.g. we want to add a favicon, add more social media buttons on our footer, among other changes.

  Now that we know we want to transfer the site to host on a different server, it turns out the that theme doesn’t transfer with it. How do we transfer the theme over?

  This page: http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/premium-themes/#how-to-transfer-a-premium-theme
  shows that there should be a “Transfer to another site” link, but that doesn’t show up on our “My Upgrades” page.

  Please let me know what we should do.

  Hi Kasey,

  I’m sorry about the miscommunication, but the transfer to another site link is used for another WordPress.com site within your account. You would not be able to transfer the Premium Theme outside of WordPress.com.

  As for things like Favicons or also known as Blavatars, you can do that through this guide here.
