Premium Theme vs Premium Account
-
I bought the premium DIVI theme, but when I log into WordPress and try to map my GoDaddy domain to my WordPress account, it prompts me to upgrade my account to premium. Are these things separate and I have to pay annually for the DIVI theme as well as a premium account, or should they be connected since I’m already paying an annual fee for a premium theme? Thank you!

Hi there,
Getting a premium theme and getting a premium account are two different things.
On a site with the Premium or Business plan, you can switch to any premium theme at no extra cost, as many times as you’d like. Without a Premium or Business plan, premium themes may also be purchased individually.
For more details on premium themes, you can check out the link below:

Hi there, hope you don’t mind me adding something to this discussion.
@katemcguinness888 – DIVI is a theme that can be used on the standalone WordPress open source software when you are hosted with a 3rd party web hosting provider like BlueHost, DreamHost, GoDaddy, etc. In order to use DIVI here on WordPressdotcom, your site needs to have the Business plan upgrade. You won’t be able to use DIVI here otherwise. Here’s more information about the Business plan upgrade:
