  Is there any way to preview a premium theme with my current content before upgrading to premium?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  It looks like http://www.medfieldpubliclibrary.org isn’t hosted at WordPress.com but is a WordPress.org site hosted at GoDaddy. Therefore, the Premium Themes would not apply to this site since the WordPress.com Premium Plan and Premium Themes only apply to sites hosted at WordPress.com.

  However, if there is a theme you like in the WordPress.com theme library, you can try searching the WordPress.org Theme Directory to see if you can find and install it on your self-hosted site from there. Some themes can be found in both places.

  The WordPress.org Theme Directory can be found here:

  https://wordpress.org/themes/browse/featured/

  If you can’t find the theme you like in the WordPress.org Theme Directory, you could also try searching the internet for it to see if you could buy it directly from the theme developer. All of this just depends on what theme you are looking at.

  On the other hand, if you are asking about Premium Themes in regard to a different website than the one listed in your question, one that is hosted at WordPress.com, there is a way you can preview a Premium Theme with your site content before purchasing the theme or upgrading to the Premium Plan.

  The short answer, is, yes. Every theme has a live demo page that you can check out before deciding to activate it.

  As an example, here is the Small Business theme

  – live theme demo site: https://smallbusinessdemo.wordpress.com/

  Remember that your site is using the open source WordPress installation though. So, you need to use the theme version compatible with that version of WordPress. https://wordpress.org/themes/
