Premium themes – still have to pay?

    I have just upgraded to premium, but it seems like I still have to pay for premium themes?
    Is that so?

    Hi Maria,

    You are correct. The Premium upgrade gives you access to features such as:
    – Free Domain
    – Custom Design
    – VideoPress
    – Space Upgrade
    – No Ads

    The Premium Themes are a separate entity. You can purchase these specialized themes, to use in conjunction with the Premium upgrade features.

    The Premium upgrade features are required to be renewed once a year. The Premium Themes are yours after purchase, and do not expire.

    OK. Too bad… :-( Thought it was included. Will the changes I have made in customizing stay, even if I don’t renew?

    Hi Maria,

    Yes, that’s right — if you’ve made design adjustments with the Custom Upgrade, for instance, those would disappear if you don’t renew.

    You do not need to renew the entire Premium upgrade. If you’d like, you can choose the components you’d like to keep and let the others expire.

    To do this, go to Store → My Upgrades in your site’s Dashboard. Then click cancel where you see your Premium upgrade listed. Feel free to renew/allow to expire individual features as you like.
