Premium themes unbundled

  Hi,

  I am starting a new blog on wordpress.com and have been trying to buy a premium theme. But each time i like a particular layout and click on the purchase link, it brings me to a page with plans of 99$ and 229$ each.

  I already have a domain name upgrade and I don’t intend to spend more money on the bundles. Is there a way I could just buy the theme?

  Any help would be highly appreciated.

  Thanks for your prompt reply time thief.

  So, after clicking on the link, i was redirected to the premium themes showcase (which was the same place i was earlier). On liking a particular theme (say Vision), i clicked on it and it asked me to Buy and Activate. On clicking it, i get back to the plans page.

  I am beginning to think that i may have to just buy the bundle, cos WordPress clearly doesn’t want me to just have a premium theme. Very frustrating.

  I suspect that even if you bought a useless up-sell plan you would still be locked out of the themes page – the staff have changed some things the last few days and the net result is a pile of upset customers that keep getting an up-sell page when all they need is a single upgrade

  don’t buy anything until the staff show up and help

  Hi again,
  Please be patient while waiting and know when you or anyone else posts into any thread that’s tagged for Staff after it’s tagged, that moves the timestamp ahead so it takes longer to get a response from Staff.
