Premium trial and domain registration

Hello,
If I cancel my premium trial but keep the domain I registered during it, do I lose the domain also or will I be charged for the domain registration at the end of the trial?

You can choose to keep the domain name, that’s not a problem, but you will obviously have to pay for it.
Before the end of your trial, you can post a thread here and one of the Staff will assist you in this regard.

When I try to register a domain (I hit My Domains on the right of the Dashboard page, choose a domain name, get to the confidentiality page, then the payment page) it’s as if the site does not acknowledge that I am premium user (though I’m in my trial phase right now). It brings me to the page where I’m asked to pay C$24 instead of including the registration under my Premium membership. Is this normal? I thought the Premium plan included domain registration.

It still does not work. I get asked to pay C$24 for the registration. As a matter of fact, when I hit “My upgrades” at the top of the page you sent the link of, there’s a “Purchase” button next to where “WordPress.com Premium/Supercharge your site/Free trial” is.

Are you certain the 14-day trial hasn’t ended yet? I’m tagging this thread for Staff assistance and they’ll get back to you via this thread.

I’m positive. When I hit “Upgrades” on the right of the page, it says “Your trial ends in 10 days. Like what you see? Upgrade Now” under the Premium column.

Think of it this way, the free trial only applies to the plan itself, not individual parts of it. There is no free trial for domains.
So, if you ask to end your trial now, we will have to charge for the domain immediately.
