premium upgrade

I asked some questions about upgrading to premium and haven’t received any response. How do I follow up on this?

Hello!
Here is your previous post
“I see I’m at 99% of my free space used. I don’t want to delete previous blog posts so I guess I need to purchase the Premium package. I don’t want to change my domain name from lclalor.wordpress.com because I have distributed business cards far and wide with this on it. Can I keep this domain name? Also, I like the security of wordpress.com backing up my blog and not having to deal with security issues. Will I lose that? Thank you for your prompt reply to my concerns. The blog I need help with is lclalor.wordpress.com.”

You do not have to change your domain name. A free, custom domain, is included with your Premium purchase. Here is a comparison of the options for WordPress.com https://wordpress.com/plans/compareIf you’re not happy with your purchase of the Premium plan you have 30 days to request a refund https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ You just need to visit wordpress.com/purchases to request the refund.

The space you refer to is only for media uploads (images, audio, video, etc). Are you clear on that? There are no bandwidth (space) limitations on text. You can publish as many posts as you like.
WordPress.com provides free blogs and hosts them free of charge. There are no bandwidth charges. All WordPress.com blogs come with 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images. Free features are listed here https://en.wordpress.com/features/
Have you exhausted your free media upload space allocation?
Check here http://lclalor.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php to confirm how much space you have used.Images you upload into your media library and embed into posts and pages are on wordpress.COM servers. They remain visible unless or until you delete them from your media library. Doing that removes them from every place you embedded them in the blog and leaves behind broken links. Consequently, we do no recommend doing that.
Also, note that images you link to on other sites are not on wordpress.com servers, and can disappear if they are removed at the source from the servers they are on.

Thank you for your replies. Yes, I looked at all this information previously but your response clarifies it for me. I didn’t understand the space limitation is for media only. My blog contains a lot of photos so I will need to purchase the additional space. I also didn’t understand that if I delete media files from the library they will be deleted from the blog post, too, so you prevented a disaster there! Thank you again.
