Premium Upgrade Billing

  When you upgrade to a premium account on WP, it says that the fee is $8.25 per month, billed yearly. I assume this is to be charged right at the beginning, but their terms state the following:

  ‘We charge your account one month before the end of the subscription period.’

  Does this mean if I were to sign up for a Premium account, I wouldn’t be billed until July 2017?

  I’m afraid not. You are charged straight away for 12 months. It means the renewal fee is charged in 11 months time.
