Premium upgrade – not what I thought it was

    Hello!
I have upgrade for four of my blogs:
    – Jodoran.net (domain and no ads)
    – crookedneedles.net (domain; no ads; and custom design, which I don’t even know what that is…)
    – eslcurriculumdevelopment.com (domain and no ads)
    – and my newest blog – zaznam.com (premium)

I paid for premium for zaznam.com because I wanted a dot.com name, no ads, and free premium themes. I realize now that free premium themes are not included. If I can purchase no ads for this dot.com domain, I would like to cancel the premium and purchase only the domain name and the no ads. Then I could use some of the remaining money to purchase a premium theme.

I’m sad to see that use of any premium theme is a things of the past, with a paid premium plan. I love WordPress, as do thousands of others, but I am disappointed to see how the plan system has changed, thereby making it more difficult for the customers.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi Jo.

I’m sad to see that use of any premium theme is a things of the past, with a paid premium plan.

Unlimited Premium Themes came free with purchases of WordPress.com Premium as part of our Black Friday offering last year, which is why you received access to all of our premium themes at that time.

This offer was part of a special sale that lasted from Friday, November 28th until Monday, December 1st of last year and this is the only time when Unlimited Premium Themes came bundled with WordPress.com Premium:

Black Friday Special: A Year of Unlimited Premium Themes

WordPress.com Business is currently our only plan that’s consistently included Unlimited Premium Themes, and you can find more on this plan here:

    WordPress.com Business [Redirects to Plans]

I would like to cancel the premium and purchase only the domain name and the no ads.

We migrated from offering à la carte upgrades to offering tiered plans. With this in mind, it’s not currently possible to purchase No Ads by itself, only as part of WordPress.com Premium. However, I took a look over your account and have contacted you directly via email so that we can chat about some of your upgrades further. Can you reply from there? Thanks!

    Hello (to Staff siobhyb)

I don’t see your email, and I’m wondering if you could re-send it?
    Thanks, Jo

Sure thing! I’ve gone ahead to resend the email to the address we have on file for your WordPress.com account. You can check this address here:
