Presentation not good
-
hello, i uploaded many pages of legal documents to blog. however, the pages are not easily viewable and not sure how to modify the blog.
currently, all the pages stream like a side show and perhaps this would be great for pictures.
for the most part i like the way the images of the documents streaming from side to side, is like an open book that is being thumbed through.
but it would be nice if the images were shown page width and could be scrolled down up and down to read the page.
right now, one would have to right click on the image and select view, and this is highly tedioius when trying to review the package of docs on line.
i only hope that all my work and time was not wasted because it certainly was not easy to scan these oversized documents on a standard scanner. each required 2 scans then they had to be weaved together, then saved and uploaded to blog (whew!!)
any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I can’t find what you are describing. Please provide a link directly to the post or Page featuring the information.
Also, please do not use the option to force a link to open in a new tab or window. I’ve just had to close down five tabs in my browser just trying to navigate your site. There really is no reason to use that feature, and doing so is really painful for site navigation when linking to content on your own site.
Thanks.

Image galleries aren’t really ideal for displaying images of text. You might like to try a Scribd embed instead:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/scribd/
Scribd is meant for written documents and display in an up-and-down fashion.

thank you!
seems that i may have to convert the format of the images now into something compatible for the scribd site.
but it looks like a worthwhile endeavor.
thanks again!

urghhh,
went to sign up for that scribd account and the home page is implying the service is not free.
so i double check the “terms and conditions” page and it isnt clear if the service is free or not.
just eludes to something about entering debit card or credit information where applicable.

Too bad they don’t make that clear. Perhaps contacting their customer service could clear things up for you? (email visible only to moderators and staff).
I did find this info on their FAQ, in case it helps:
When you have an account on Scribd you’re able to share your work and read a lot of documents in our collection free of charge. There’s content though that’s only available when you’ve purchased our monthly premium membership for the low recurring price of $8.99 per month. You can explore Scribd’s library without a premium membership and many books offer a free preview to non-members but if you find something interesting that’s only available within the premium service, you’ll need to join the membership program to enjoy it in its entirety.
-
yeah.
unfortunately, the word “free” is subjectively used nowadays.
i will give it a go through the motions of registering and see if a cc is required.
thanks again for your help !!
