  Hi. One thing I haven’t figured out is: How can I always have the same article show up first when I my site is being accessed. Instead, WordPress always shows the last article I published. Fact is, the article I want to always appear first is a welcome blog. Thanks in advance for your tips.

  Hi,

  Two ways to achieve what you’ve described above:

  1. Use a sticky post as the leading post.

  2. Assign a static page to display on your front page, and another page to display your posts, as described in the Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) support page.
