preserve site content for future use
-
Hi, it was necessary to discontinue the subscription, but I would like to preserve the BLOG site contents in case it needs to be reactivated in the future. Currently when navigating to the site it is not longer showing as available, and also the original domain is no longer owned. I need a not cost option, even if the url to the blog is generic.
The site I need help with is morrongotv.wordpress.com.

Hi there,
If you cancel a paid upgrade on a WordPress.com site, the site just returns to the free plan. No content will be removed from your site, but will continue existing on your site until you decide to delete it.
We also don’t remove sites due to inactivity, so even if you completely abandon your site and never log into your account again, your site and all your content will continue to exist for as long as WordPress.com itself does :)
Currently when navigating to the site it is not longer showing as available, and also the original domain is no longer owned
Your custom domain will no longer work, no, because you no longer own it, and it’s no longer connected to your site. But all your content still exists at the original free address, morrongotv.wordpress.com. If there are any internal links on your site referencing the custom domain, you’ll need to update those to the free address instead, or they won’t work.
