  What does the Press this button do? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

  It used to be in the old tool bar when in dashboard view, WordPress upgraded the software about two weeks ago. I don´t see it now, also I don´t know what it did.

  Now I see it on IE . Only see it when viewing the blog, not when in any type of dashboard view.
  When I press it, it takes me to a write post view and inserts the title of the page i am looking at.
  Hard to understand what its usefulness is.

  I think it started as a Firefox add-on and Lorelle coded it for WordPress’s admin bar. WP.com likes it because it encourages you to link to WP blogs rather than external ones, thus raising the Google PR and Technorati juice of WP blogs systematically. They’re quite clever.

  But I never liked the formatting, so I never used it.
