press this and reblog not working

I sent an email a few minutes ago saying that the links did not appear on my site when I clicked Press This on a post I wanted to reblog. Since then I’ve tried a number of sites, some of which did have a Press This button, but it has now disappeared. I tried the Reblog button instead, and nothing happened at all. It didn’t ask for any information about where I wanted it reblogged to, and did not appear on my site. The button did ‘depress’ as if it was working, though.
I think that only asking in the forum is not very good. Something like this WordPress should know about. -
I have, on a couple of occasions recently, been informed that the link does not appear on my blog when I Press This on anothe blog. I just checked (on my iPad) and those links aren’t there. I haven’t checked on my pc, though.
Pleasehelp with this. -

It would also really help if we knew what OS and browser you’re using (and whether you have extensions enabled), and the addresses of the WordPress.com sites you tried the Reblog/PressThis button on.

On my ipad I use Safari. On my pc I use either Firefox or Microsoft Edge. The same problem arises on all three.
It seems to be on all sites I’ve tried to reblog. PBS blog, Bluebird of Bitterness, and Sue Vincent’s Daily Echo are three that come to mind. Do you want the URL of them?
Sometime there’s no reblog or press this button.
On my iPad I often get a message saying my comments cannot be posted, and more often than not, there’s no like button, just the loading icon. (that goes circling round for ever. I’ve tried waiting, but it never loads.) Sometimes I get a message ion my iPad telling me the action cannot be performed when I try to reblog.
The thing that’s the worst, though, is the non-appearance of the link on my site when I reblog. -
Apologies. I forgot to say my OS. On my pc I use Windows 10. On my iPad it’s an old version–9 something. (My iPad is a few years old.)

First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these two things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.
2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

I did as you suggested. First, this morning I tried pressing a couple of posts from other people’s blogs before doing anything. The link did not appear, although the heading and my comment did.
I’ve just cleared the cache and cookies from all the ISPs I use, then tried pressing another post. The PressThis and reblog buttons were missing, on three posts I looked at. (I only looked at three.) All others, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc were there.
I don’t have any addons or browser extensions that I’m aware of.

And what are the URLs of the posts where the PressThis and Reblog buttons were missing?

Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and on my iPad, Sarafi.
The first three are the latest versions. Safari isn’t because my iPad is only running version 9 something and can’t be updated any more, so neither can Safari, so they tell me.From time to time, but too often than I care to say, the reblog buttons are missing on most websites I look at. Also, to keep wires from getting crossed for a bit, let’s focus on Press This first, then we can work on Reblog.
So for Press This, did you get a fresh copy of the Press This bookmarklet, as outlined here? Just delete your current bookmark and add it back again.
