Press This bookmarklet doesn't take full site
-
There was a time when I would click on the Press This bookmarklet on a story I found elsewhere, and it would render the content and images inline in real time. Now when I click on it, it only provides a link to the article. Is that due to DMCA or similar issues, different javascript in the URL link, or something else?
When I create blogs that incorporate copy from another site, I always attribute it to the author in APA 6th edition standard format as if I was writing a graduate school paper. I generally only do this is I have something to add, not just share (I have Flipboard for such purposes).
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello, I didn’t select any text. Not before in the old editor nor the current one. If that or Ctrl+A is necessary to get text and images, then so be it. I don’t publish verbatim, but would prefer all text and images then I can decide which to include or not.

Hello again, “Press This” itself has undergone changes over the years without any reference to the old or new Editor.
In the current version you do need to highlight something. Here’s the full support guide to using it. https://en.support.wordpress.com/press-this/#using-press-this

I tested it just now, and have 2 screenshots that I can’t upload here for examples, but I didn’t find any plus button on the pop-up page that would allow me to attach images.

I guess embeds aren’t possible here so maybe this will work.

Screenshots can be helpful. You can use http://snag.gy/ or http://cloudup.com to share screenshots and link to them here. If you use the WordPress.com guide for screenshots http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ you can and upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.
Then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

While the Modlook tag has been added, I can see the + sign in your second screenshot.
As the support guide says (emphasis mine):
To add images or text to the link, click the “Plus” icon below the title of the post and select the photos you want. You can also add your own commentary if you like.
That’s the “Add Media” button in the tool bar.

I see now that plus. I do use it at times for regular posts, but the old bookmarklet had the title, all of the images in a line before that and then the text. Since that isn’t coming back, this what I have to do on the WordPress platform.
I also have a blog at Medium, it has more of a direct text import. Thanks for your assistance.
