    Hi there,

The WordPress.com Business Plan doesn’t include Pressable, which is a completely different company, offering hosting service for WordPress.org self-hosted websites.

For more information on WordPress.com Business Plan, please see here:

    Hope this helps.

    Hi

I actually signed up by clicking the business plan and it took me to pressable where I signed up for a yearly plan with a 14 day trial. How then do someone sign up for the wordpress business plan without being connected to pressable? It looks like there is now way, and believe me, I tried.

I had a look around and I can see that when signing up for a Business Plan you get re-directed to Pressable.

I’ve found another post discussing the issue:

If you want to discuss this and get help from a member of staff you can add the modlook tag.

  • Hi there,

Pressable and WordPress.com are two completely separate hosting providers.

If you buy a Business Plan for a site with us, we are your hosting provider, your site runs on our servers, and we provide you with support for your site. The people at Pressable will have no access to your site.

If you buy a hosting account with Pressable, they are your hosting provider, and you’ll be using the self-hosted WordPress.org software with them. We have no access to your Pressable account, or to the dashboard of any site you have hosted with them.

How then do someone sign up for the wordpress business plan without being connected to pressable?

Where are you being connected to Pressable? To buy the Business Plan you need to go to My Site ->Plans, and add Business to your site there. At no point in that process do we link to Pressable.

If you’re speaking of the eCommerce link in the signup flow, that directs to Pressable in which case you will buy hosting directly from them, not from us. However, that link was added before we allowed plugins in the WordPress.com Business Plan, and now you can get the same functionality directly from us.
