PRESSABLE on WordPress.com vs WordPress.org

    I have been researching the difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org and I now think I understand the difference.

    However, If you are starting a new wordpress.COM site and choose ‘Online Store’ as the style of your homepage the next page says: ‘We’ve partnered with Pressable, a top-notch WordPress hosting provider, and WooCommerce, the go-to eCommerce solution for WordPress, to make setting up your store a snap.’

    So my question is: what is the difference between using pressable on wordpress.com vs wordpress.org? Why would you choose WordPress.com over wordpress.org for an online store if you still have to pay for services from Pressable and (I am assuming) have less customization because you are using WordPress.com instead of .org??

    Please help me understand this by providing as much information as possible. Links to any user reviews of using Pressable with WordPress.COM would also be greatly appreciated.

    So my question is: what is the difference between using pressable on wordpress.com vs wordpress.org?

    If you select that option you won’t be using WordPress.com. You be creating a hosting account with Pressable, and installing a site there using the WordPress.org software. You will be paying Pressable for hosting, and you’ll have the full WordPress.org functionality on your site. You’ll also contact Pressable for support, not us, as we won’t be hosting your site and won’t have any access to it.
