Pressing this

Hi. Can anyone help me. I want to press things like youtube clips etc to my blog and i’ve dragged the icon to my bookmarks tab at the top of my screen but I don’t know what to do after then. I have windows 7 I don’t know if the instructions are different? If someone could help me please? Thanks.

No I have already looked there and it doesn’t explain properly how to do it. I can read instructions and find support pages fine I am smart enough to do that. That is why I’m asking for extra help because the wordpress site support has not given me adequate assistance. It doesn’t work on my computer so I need help from a person please. I am frustrated so I don’t want to appear rude. I would really appreciate some actual help not directions to the unhelpful support site I’ve already checked. Sorry I love my blog and want it to be good and I want to connect with people who are like minded. Thanks

It doesn’t work on my computer
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com?
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) are you using check here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/

Hi emiliadaffodil,
To use this feature, you first drag the button for “Press This” into your browser bar, so it’s available any time you find a cool thing on the internet.
When you do, while you’re on the page you want to use for a post, you click the “Press This” button on your browser, and a mini-window will open up allowing you to create a post using that link, and publish it on your blog. If you aren’t logged in to WordPress.com, you will be prompted to do so first.
