Pressrow customization

    Hi,

I am new to wordpress and trying to figure out some CSS stuff (with the CSS upgrade). Here’s my blog:
    http://eatyourcolors.wordpress.com

I am using pressrow because I like the format. However, I’d like to make some changes and I have a few questions.

    1) How do I add a third tab? For example, if I’d like “Home”, “About”, and “Contact” tabs.

    2) How do I actually edit the “About” content? I can’t seem to locate the actual text anywhere that’s in the original template (in the original CSS code), so I don’t know how to replace it.

    3) How would I hide the “File under….” text that currently appears below each post?

    4) How would I hide some or all of the “Links” to the right of the page? (Blogroll, Documentation, Plugins, etc.)

I think that’s it for now. Thanks!

Home, About, Contact – Just add another Page

Edit About – Dashboard >> Pages >> About should be there – your “Tabs” are Pages

Right side of the Page – these are Widgets

Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets >> drag and drop the Widgets you want – when you put the first new Widget in the sidebar the default ones will go away –

Excellent!! Thank you very much. That was easy. And now I know the terminology, so thanks.

    OK…..so now for question #3?

My CSS experience has been limited to changing a few font colors, and that was before I installed FireBug (a CSS debug tool for FireFox) and the color changing was very painful and took a long time.

My guess is that there is some sort of “display_none” added for something in the CSS.

#3: add the following to your CSS at the bottom

    p.tagged {display:none;}

That did it. Thanks, thesacredpath! You saved me once again. :)
