prevent heading text from wrapping in a column

How can I prevent heading text from wrapping in a column? I have 4 columns; each contain an H2 and an image. When I shrink the screen width, the H2 text splits result in the 4 images no longer being aligned. I would like the four columns to stack when before the largest H2 splits.

  • Hi there,

When I visit your site it appears that you may have edited the text to use shorter headings in each section. When I preview on mobile I’m not seeing the text split into multiple lines.

Is this still happening on your end? If so please share a screenshot so we can see what you are seeing. Generally speaking it’s not possible to set a “mobile only text size” for your headings, so text you set in desktop view may be a bit too large to display correctly in mobile view. There are a few options:

    • Use less text (which you may be doing already)
    • Use an intermediate font size that can work on both desktop and mobile devices
    • mobile-specific CSS to reduce font size on smaller screens so the text can scale correctly.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

    I prevented the wrapping by changing the image layout to a 2 x 2 instead of a 4 x 1.

On a different note, the navigation menu for mobile has big spaces between some of the meny items and sub menu items. When I try to change the line height for a menu item, that option is not available for items that have sub menu items. Is there a way to get equal spacing between all items?

Thanks for getting back to me.

    Bob

  • Hey Bob,

All the menu items seem to have the same spacing for me, can you share a screenshot of where you are seeing this so I can take a look?

Thanks! Looking forward to hearing from you.
