Prevent new user registration

  My site is getting about 50 spam new user registrations per day. I cannot find any way to prevent new users from registering. Where is this feature on the new WordPress site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  This is the support forum for sites hosted here at WordPress.com. Your inmotionhosting site isn’t hosted here on WordPress.com servers. The two WordPresses have a number of operational differences. You’ll need to register an account at the correct support forum:

  Hi there, your site is using the open source WordPress software. You’ll want to seek help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums

  If memory serves me correctly, you should be able to turn off new user registrations in your dashboard at WP-Admin ->Settings ->General
