Prevent specific posts from displaying on front page.

Hello, I’m trying to create a type of “subpost” that is shorter and more frequently posted than my longer, weekly ones. However, I do not want the shorter ones to appear on my main page (where all the current posts are located) and only to appear when visitors click on the specific category that I want to group the small posts under. How would I go about doing this without having to install a plugin?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

It is not currently possible to exclude specific categories from the main blog page in WordPress natively.

You will need to use a plugin to achieve this.
