preventing backdating

  I’m creating a blog for my students to write on. Is there a way to prevent backdating of posts? They are supposed to post every week, but I don’t want them waiting until the end and backdating their posts.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m afraid there’s no way to do this, no.

  What you can do is set your students’ user level to Contributor, rather than Author. That way they won’t be able to post themselves, but will only be able to create draft posts. They’ll then need to notify you, as admin, to publish a post once it is ready.
