  How do I turn off my blogs so they do not appear
  online?

  Here is how to set how visible your site is online:

  3. I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose – Select this option to create a private blog. If you want others to be able to view your private blog (and add comments, if you’ve enabled them) you’ll need to invite them to be a viewer.

  Note that changing the visibility of your blog won’t remove the posts already viewable via Google and other search engines. It will take some time before they re-index your site and find that those posts are no longer publicly available.
