Preventing blog posts from appearing on the front page of the Designfolio theme

  Hi there. Am using Designfolio theme. I just need that my website looks exactly like the themes demo website (http://designfoliodemo.wordpress.com/). I tried my best but failed. Please help with it. How can I prevent blog posts from appearing in the front page? Thanks

  Hi there!

  I’m sorry you’re having trouble with this. Here are some steps to set up a static front page:

  1. Create a new Page with the content you want to display on under the Home Page slider.
  2. If you want to display your blog posts elsewhere, create an empty Page with the appropriate title (Blog, Latest News, etc.).
  3. Go to Settings > Reading.
  4. Select A static page and select the correct pages from the drop downs for Front page and Recent Posts page.
