Preventing image download?

  Hello,

  Is it possible to prevent a photograph from being downloaded? I realise anybody can still capture an image as a screenshot, but can a download be disabled as on Flickr?

  If not, do you recommend adding a digital watermark (Digimarc, for example)?

  Sorry – I just noticed that my question refers to a private blog. My question is a general one. Any advice about preventing an image download, or am I worried unnecessarily?

  Any image you see on the internet can be downloaded in one way or another and it would be misleading to tell you otherwise.
