Preventing images from zooming

    Hi,

I don’t want a user to be able to click on my images on my site and for them to then be able to zoom in on them. My blog is http://www.emilystreatfeildmoore.com. The images are under portfolio. Would really appreciate the help!

    Hey there Emily!

No problem. Your images are currently setup to link to their Media File. Basically, as you can see, this sends your visitor to the original image size on a new page.

To adjust this, you’ll want to make certain your images are set to link to, “None.”

In order to adjust the settings for your current images, open your Portfolio page in the editor. Click on a photo. A ittle pencil icon button will appear…click that.

You’ll now see your Image Details. Where you see DISPLAY SETTINGS, there is a label, “Link To.” Change that setting to None. Then, click the blue Update button in order to save your change.

    That should do the trick!

In the future, you can make sure this setting appears as you’d like when you install the image, so you don’t have to do it retro-actively.

If I can help in any other way, please drop me a line. Cheers :)
