Preventing new followers

  Any idea how to prevent new followers, without making all posts private?

  I need to prevent new followers since I migrated to a new blog address, but the old one still receives a lot of visits and new follows. I removed the follow widget and put large messages on it to direct them to the new address.

  Follow still appears on the top-left in the hovering back WordPress bar, like on any WordPress.com site. Any way to hide or deny this?

  Any way to create a follow widget which goes to the new blog? (Creating follow button code uses javascript which isn’t allowed)

  I don’t wish to pay for domain forwarding.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
