Preventing people I don't know from accessing my blog

  Hello
  I recently found out that the blog I write for close family and friends has been being read by people I work for. Is there a way to protect my blog so that only people I want to read it have access?

  You can change your blog’s privacy settings so that only people you specify can have access.

  For instructions on how to do that, please read this page. You will probably want the ‘I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose’ option.
