Preventing Subscribers From Getting Emails

    Hi,
    I’m considering moving posts from my WordPress.org blog over to my WordPress.com blog. However my WordPress.com blog has a number of email subscribers. Since I’ll be importing around 30 posts, I don’t want them to receive 30 emails notifying them of a new post.

    My question is, if I import those posts, will this also lead to them having the post emailed to them.

    If so, is there a way to turn this off?

    Also is there a way to publish posts so that subscribers aren’t automatically emailed them? (I mention this as I also want to add around 15 posts to the blog as well as the ones that were imported.)
