Preview and Updated Page look different?

    I have carefully created a shortcode in my functions php and then added it to my elementor in my page like this [shortcode]. When i click on preview it looks fine and just the way i want it but when i update and go to the live page. The html and styles get messy and i get some errors in the console. What should i do?

    Also is it possible to do this without using a shortcode in functions.php i have a projectPage.php file that i carried to a function to create a short code. If its possible to directly call this .php in a certain page with elementor that could work too.
