Preview Changes Shows Home Page??

    Hey everyone,

    I am having a weird problem with the Preview Changes button.

    I have my “reading” settings set as A Static Page – Front Page: Home and Posts Page: Blog… Which is pretty normal right.

    By the way I am using the Divi Theme.

    So when I go to do changes on my Blog Page, like change the layout of the posts, background color or whatever other changes I do to my Blog Page, when I click on preview changes the Preview window goes to my Home Page. Why is this?

    This only happens on my blog page. I can preview changes on home page, about page, contact page… but for some reason when I want to preview changes on the blog page, the preview changes window shows the Home page.

    How can I fix this?

    Hello there,

    Can you please provide the URL of the site you are looking for help with? Sometimes providing the site URL can allow us to help better if we can see the site you are referring to.

    I can see that you have a site called, theselfiechicken.wordpress.com, and it is using the theme “Big Brother” Is this the site you need help with? I assume not since you said you are using the Divi theme. Also, this site is not showing a Blog page.

    Hey fmacia77,

    That does sound odd!

    In preview mode, are you able to navigate from your home page to your blog page to see the changes?

    Within your Theme customize settings, I would make sure that Static Front Page is set to display a static page, and your Posts page is set to display your posts.

    Another thing to try would be to temporarily set your Static Front Page to display your latest posts just so that you can view the changes. Then once you’re ready to save your changes, set it back to a static page. Does this make sense?
