Preview doesn’t match the draft.

I have created my first blog and after hitting the preview button it pops up in a new window and shows what it’s going to look like after I publish it. However, all of my formatting is completely wrong and looks nothing like what my draft looks like. This is probably because the draft is much, much wider than the preview. The preview has a very narrow strip down the middle of the page that has everything stuffed in it. And it’s all stuffed incorrectly.

How do I get my preview page to look just like my draft?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sometimes it takes a couple minutes for changes you’ve made since the draft was last saved or autosaved to show up. Wait a minute or two then try again. Also, some formatting doesn’t show up in previews but does when you actually publish the post.

Thanks dcrage. It’s been an hour and still no change. I sent wordpres support a request for help. Any other ideas?

@nintendowiidownloads: Yes, this is because the draft may be wider than the preview. The preview is what you actually get. The post editor is generic, designed to work regardless of the theme, so in the editor window you often don’t get exactly what the post will be like.

And please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here – or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know. We usually need that to give a relevant answer.
