Preview doesn't show any text
-
I recently completed a post draft and the preview doesn’t show any text, only the images. What could be wrong? I’ve tried looking at it in different browsers, tried bolding my text, but nothing shows up. The hyperlinks and the images and that’s it. The draft has been saved many times and I can see everything when I edit, just not in preview. I copied and posted the text from a Word document, but I’ve always done this and never had a problem. Any ideas why this is happening?

After going through the list steps, the result is still the same. I’m using an HP desktop. I’ve tried browsers IE 11 and the latest version of Firefox. The preview of the draft still does not show any text. On the edit window I can see all texts, but not when previewed. I’ve even tried changing the color and bolding the text, but this doesn’t work either. Should I go ahead and try to publish the post and see how it comes out?

Hi @squintphotographyart, the issue is that the code you copied explicitly specifies that the font color should be black. Your background is black, too. So the text is invisible.
You could try clearing that formatting out of Word before pasting. Or you might try pasting as plain text:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/microsoft-word/#plain-textYou could also click on the HTML tab and edit every instance of “color: #000000” — #000000 is black, so you could specify another color like #FFFFFF or any color code you like. It would just be a bit more work :)
