Preview not showing changes

Hello,

I’ve been working on my pages and on the editor everything looks as I want it but when I want to see the preview on a different tab it shows something completely different. That is to say, the changes are not updating and I’m getting very frustrated with it. I hope you can help me.

Hm, I don’t see what could be causing that.

What is the title of the post or page you’re having trouble updating?

I’m having this problem with all the pages (Services, Coaching philosophy, about me, book a consult). The only one that is really showing the changes is the homepage (brennabray)

Hi @brennabray1,

Thanks for letting us know. Looking at Appearance → Editor, I see that you’ve added the cover block and lorem ipsum content to you page template, which is used on all pages except for the homepage, which uses blank.

What’s happening here is that you’ve mistakenly added your content to the page template, while also removing the post content block from that template. This is why your updated content is not showing, despite having updated your pages.

I recommend either editing your template to remove the undesired content, adding the post content block back, or clear the customizations that you’ve made in the full site editor (FSE), as shown here:
