Preview of posts

    When I click on the ‘Posts’ link in my menu bar, I have it set to display all the posts in the drop down menu (it’s the same for my archives link). My problem is they are showing the posts in their entirety; I only want to show a preview of each post so the page is more user and visually appealing. I had it yesterday, but I cannot find the link anymore.
