Preview of posts with a ‘read more’ link

  Hello,
  Is it possible for me to have a welcome page that is a taster of my last few posts, say the first 12 lines, with a read more click thing at the bottom, like you see on newspaper websites?

  Use icon 13 in the visual editor -> http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/15/what-do-all-the-icons-mean/
  or just add a more tag manually in your post as described here –> http://wordpress.com/blog/2006/08/02/but-wait-theres-more/

  Or you could just use the Hemingway theme, which does this on all posts automatically.
