Preview Pics Are Gone From Home Page

  My Suburbia themed blog, BrewBloggers.net, stopped showing the pictures from the home page. How do I get them back?

  Hello there, I took a look at your site and see the trouble you’re experiencing. When did your images disappear from your homepage?

  Have you many any major adjustments to your site recently — like upgrades, theme changes, etc?

  When I look at your Media Library, it appears as if most of your images are not attached to your posts. But, I do assume that at some point they were attached to posts or pages. Could you confirm this?

  I made some changes a wile ago but pics were still coming through…do they need to be attached to show up? Maybe there were updates to our mobile WordPress aps that is the culprit change, not sure.

  They do need to be attached, yes. It’s a pretty simple process to do this. In your site’s Dashboard, click Media → Library. In the table that lists all your uploads, you’ll see a column labeled “Uploaded to.” You’ll see that many of your images are unattached. If you click the “Attach” link that corresponds with your image name/thumbnail, a box opens up that allows you to click on the post(s) where the image belongs. The process is manual, but luckily, isn’t too laborious.

  I would like to assure that this won’t happen to you again. Please get in touch with me if this occurs with any of your posts in the future. We can investigate further to find the trigger for the error. But hopefully, this will not arise again.

  Ok, I’ll check it out. It must be something to do with the mobile AP update. We never had to manually attach images before, when we shared them from our phones through the ap, they were already attached. Can’t check now but when I can I’ll get back and let you know how it goes….This is very weird

  I agree that this is odd. When you publish your next post with images (via Mobile App), could you let me know the results as soon as you’re able? Are the images attached or unattached? Thanks very much.
