  Good morning,

  I am working on a WordPress blog layout. Essentially, I want to display preview text for my blog entries on the homepage. I know I can do that with the more tag. I can insert it after the first line of text and voila, preview text on the homepage.

  However, what if I want the preview text to be something completely different? Like a little summary or an extract from somewhere else in the post? Can that be done?
