preview text for the latest blog
-
My latest post now has only a couple of lines before the “read more” link and a lot of space left in the box. How can I make the preview contain more text – I am using opti. It used to have a number of lines and now it has shrunk and looks odd and has less preview text.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I see that since you wrote this support request, you have edited the post to remove the <!–more–> tag, which determines what the preview for the post is. Once inserted, you can delete or move that tag to a more appropriate place if you want to change how much of the text is shown as a preview.
If there’s anything else I can help you with, please let me know!

I moved the tag three lines down and it still places the more after 8 words of the first paragraph after the biblical quote. I don’t understand your reply. I did not edit the text after my post, so what vare you talking about?

It seems that your theme reserves space for a featured image: http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/
You can either set up a featured image on your post or report this issue directly to the theme developer by posting a message at http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/opti#postform
