Hi there,
Please note that your admin/preview site URLs will have your WordPress.com domain with .wordpress.com at the end of it, but when you actually publish it, it will show your purchased domain: aaronhankin.com.
But currently, your domain’s nameservers are not set to us. Currently, it’s set to:
- NS33.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
- NS34.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
You can view this here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=aaronhankin.com
Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
For more information, please visit the help documentation provided by the registrar and our support page:

Hi there
When I go to map my domain it says it is already mapped. I am able to work on my site, and customise things it’s just when I go to visit site it takes me back to godaddy where I purchased the domain.
Any help would be great -
Yes your domain is mapped to GoDaddy. It needs to be mapped to us if you want to find your WordPress.com site at your domain: aaronhankin.com instead of the GoDaddy page.
-
how do i map it over as i tried and it said it was already mapped to wordpress and also either way if i am able to work on my site when i go to ‘preview site’ shouldn’t it show me my website ?
-
i can’t find the publish site button either. do you think it has something to do with that ?
-
Your nameservers don’t seem to be pointing to us as seen here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=aaronhankin.com
Try contacting GoDaddy regarding this.
As for the publish button, can you take a screenshot of the missing Publish button? It should be in the Publish module as seen here:
If the Publish button is missing take a screenshot and add it to your Media > Library page.
Thank you!

I’m sorry, but we do not provide phone support. We only provide forum/email support. I see that your nameservers are still not set to us. Please contact GoDaddy regarding this because they are the registrar of your domain. Only they would be able to change it for you. If they can’t change it, please let me know what they say and we can go from there.
