Previous and Next arrows in the footer of the articles are not working properly

Previous and Next arrows in the footer of the articles are not working properly, supposing the order is related to post time. I can see the error in the demo too: try clicking one of the posts in the home, then verify next and previous text and links.

Could you explain in more detail what the problem is? I checked the previous and next links on your site and the theme’s demo and I’m not seeing any issues.
Example post:
https://apostrophe2demo.wordpress.com/2015/05/24/laundry-day/
Next arrow links to
https://apostrophe2demo.wordpress.com/2015/05/25/food-for-thought/
– published after the current postPrevious arrow links to
https://apostrophe2demo.wordpress.com/2015/05/14/on-falling-and-also-getting-back-up-again/
– published before the current post -
My sequence:
– go to the HOME of that website;
– click the second “box” (“Food for thought”);When you are in that post, the previous should be “Time is an illusion”, while the next should be “Let’s make it official”, or am I wrong?

The posts at the top of the demo (with the purple instead of blue) are Featured-Content posts, so they are displayed out of order, pulled out and put at the top The next/previous buttons on each post will always reference all posts, not just the featured ones.
You can visualize better which posts are Featured Content here:
