'Previous' button not working

  When I’m in the ‘home’ page of my website, there are a certain number of posts, then at the bottom there is a button that says ‘previous’ so you can explore older posts. The thing is that when I click that button it just reloads the same home page with the same posts. I’m sure there are more posts because I’m able to see them in the administration area. I don’t know what is wrong, it used to work well. The theme I’m using is Sketch, if that helps.

  Hi!

  It appears the previous button may work with items in the portfolio. When you click the previous button are you expecting additional items in your portfolio to appear OR are you expecting posts?

  Thanks for replying. You are right, I’m expecting additional items of my portfolio to appear, I have no posts at the moment.

  I think it may be a bug or something else that I cannot see.

  I can reproduce the error but I cannot seem to fix it.

  The “Previous” link works in the customizer and it works when you take the portfolio page off of being a static page.

  I checked another person’s site and there previous link does not work either.

  Thank you very much pcosta88, I’ll wait to see if there is an answer, otherwise I’ll look for an alternative solution, maybe to choose a different theme (?)

  Finally! I thought it was just me going through this problem, but it appears it only affects users with the Sketch theme. I too would love to know how to resolve this problem.

  Hey all, it’s a not a theme-specific bug. It’s a bug in version 4.4.1 of wordpress, which we’re all on. I thought it was theme-specific, so I changed my theme only to still have the bug. It has been fixed in version 4.4.2, but I don’t know how to update my version. Please let me know if anyone figures this out.
