Previous & Next post same category

  Hi,

  I would like my ‘previous and next’ posts to only be posts specific to its category.

  Currently, the ‘previous and next’ posts go by the date in which i posted them so, my categories are overlapping.

  Hi, when you are in a category, and you click on a post, it takes you to the single post page, and that page doesn’t have relationship to a category, but instead to a date, so the previous and next take you to the next or previous post by date. There is no way to change that. It would require changes to the WordPress core software itself, and we cannot edit that at WordPress.com.
