"Previous post" in organic site link
-
If you do a Google search for “repixel” you’ll see that our organic site link is titled ”
Previous postWhat is …”.The correct name from that blog post in “What is Repixeling…”, as seen here: https://blog.repixel.co/2017/12/01/what-is-repixeling/
Any ideas for a fix?

Hi,
The title in the search result should be corrected soon after the next time Google crawls the post.
Why does Google have the title wrong?
I would say that the link in the Google search result, “Previous postWhat is…,” reflects the beginning of the post title as it was when Google last crawled that post. I suspect that you might have temporarily left the post untitled and that, for whatever reason, WordPress.com automatically added the title “Previous post,” likely after you published another post. Then, at some point you added a title without deleting the existing automatically added title. And did you not at some later point delete the the phrase “Previous post” from the beginning of that title? -
Thank you for the reply, but that post has been live since 2017 and has always had a title. Previous post is a link at the very bottom of the page all of the other blog posts, but not that one actually.
