Previous themes

  I inadvertently changed the theme on this blog and would like to go back to a previous one, but I have forgotten what it was called. Please could you let me know if there is a way to retrieve the names of previous themes and, ideally, to reinstall them. Thanks for your help, Regards Patrick

  Hi there, If you don’t remember which theme you had activated on your WPcom site, have a look at your site’s MY SITES>Tools>Activity dashboard and the theme you switched from should be listed there if you switched within the last 30 days.

  If your free WPcom theme isn’t listed in MY SITES>Design>Themes it’s possible that the theme may have been retired. In that case, you would only be able to reactivate it from your site’s WP Admin>Appearance>Themes dashboard. You’ll find your WP Admin dashboard by adding /wp-admin/ to your site address.

  If you were using a Premium theme which has been retired, it won’t be possible to switch back to using it. If this is the case, please let us know.
