Previous web designer refuses to change over passwords, who do we talk to?

  Is there any way to contact WordPress directly regarding an issue with a previous web designer refusing to hand over passwords for the website? We use the company for our business and we have proof of ownership, but I can’t find any information in regards to who on WordPress I can contact to talk to.

  To recover the account of the site hosted on WordPress.com, you can use the Account Recovery Form: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form.

  But before that, we need you to provide the site address so that we can verify if your site is hosted on WordPress.com or a self-hosted site using the open source WordPress software.
